Event details

The inaugural Rangers Gathering was held in 2025 and will now become an annual event that brings together Aboriginal Rangers, land managers and community members to share knowledge, strengthen networks and celebrate the important work being undertaken on Country.

Held at Trelawney Station in its first year, the Gathering aims to provide a space for Rangers to connect, learn from one another and showcase the diverse projects they are leading across land and water management. Through a mix of practical demonstrations, workshops and yarning sessions, participants exchange skills and ideas grounded in both traditional knowledge and contemporary practices.

The event highlights the vital role Aboriginal Rangers play in caring for Country, supporting biodiversity, and maintaining and sharing cultural knowledge. Each year, the Rangers Gathering will continue to grow as a platform for leadership, learning and cultural exchange - supporting the ongoing strength and sustainability of Aboriginal Ranger programs.
