International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is now a signature annual event delivered by the Bumbira Art and Culture team, bringing together community women, young people and Elders for a day of connection, culture and learning.

Each year, local cultural practitioners are invited to share their knowledge and skills through a range of hands-on workshops and experiences. Participants can engage in activities such as language, weaving, eco-dyeing, Aboriginal dance, natural scrubs, smudge sticks and more - creating a vibrant, inclusive space to celebrate culture, creativity and community.
