Members Meeting

Tamworth Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) Members Meetings are held regularly throughout the year, with approximately six meetings scheduled annually in line with the requirements of the NSW Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983.

These meetings provide an important forum for members of the LALC to come together, stay informed and have a direct say in the governance and direction of the organisation. Members receive updates on key activities, programs and projects, and are invited to contribute to discussions and decision-making on matters that impact the local Aboriginal community. Members Meetings play a vital role in ensuring transparency, accountability and strong community representation.
