I am a proud Gamilaraay woman born in Gunnedah NSW and raised in Tamworth NSW. I am very passionate about my culture and have been privileged to learn and grow in my cultural knowledge to share for my family and community.
I work with the local Gomeroi community to improve social and emotional well-being within women from age 15 and above. In my role as Project Officer in the Bumbira Art & Culture program, I develop and deliver cultural programs that involve art, cultural practices, connection to Country, connection to community and cultural identity. We bring Aboriginal and non- Aboriginal community together to share stories and learn from each other.
My motivation will always come from my family to close the gaps for our community and develop rich knowledge of our culture. I aim to make a change for the women that we work with everyday.
