I am proud Gomeroi woman, born in Moree NSW and raised in Tamworth. I am a mother to 3 children who were all born on Gomeroi country. Tamworth has been home for most of my life and always will be. I started working with young people in the local community from 2017 and have found that being in this space is something that truly makes me happy.
In my role as a Futures Mentor at the Opportunity Hub, I work with students one-on-one to help them set and achieve their goals. I also facilitate workshops at our local schools for students from year 5-12 with a focus on career pathways, resilience and wellbeing. One of the key highlights to my career as a Futures Mentor is seeing the students each week at school getting excited that the Opportunity Hub is back for our weekly workshops.
