I am a proud Gomeroi man born here in Tamworth and raised in Quirindi/Werris Creek.
I have always had a huge passion for our culture and during my later years out at Farrer started to see the Opportunity Hub attend allowing us to gain more of a knowledge and from their it only started to grow. My passion has taken me on a journey through to being elected the Youth Delegate for the Northern Region New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council.
My position in the Tamworth Local Aboriginal Land Council revolves around educating and helping kids from year 5 to year 12 in building career aspirations, whether it’s to finish school or whether they would like to get into work experience and try to find a career they can enjoy.
